Where Ecosystems Collide

Zion National Park

The rushing sound of river in the distance, the sprinkling of the falls overhead, and the penetrating heat surrounding my skin. Aspen trees and ponderosa pines lay ahead, lush green moss climbs the rocks to my left, a prickly pear cactus sits to my right. There is something to be said about the beauty found when multiple ecosystems collide.
