Welcome to The Jealous Pen:
As a lifelong journalist and writer, my world was once ruled by the pen. But as my passion for artistic creation grew, I found myself trading notebooks for a different set of tools: wood burners, paint, vinyl, and saws. The name The Jealous Pen is a playful nod to that transition. It imagines my trusty old writing implement getting a little salty, and jealous, that I’ve been spending my time on artwork that doesn't require thousands of written words.
As a nature enthusiast, my artistic style is a unique blend of fine art and rustic chic, designed to bring the beauty of the wilderness and inspiration from the trails less traveled, indoors. With a specialized focus on pyrography, I combine the art of wood burning with mixed media to translate my love for the outdoors into unique artistic creations. Whether it’s detailed wall decor, stylish accessories, drink coasters, keychains, keepsake ornaments or wedding cake toppers, every item is an extension of my time spent outdoors and a chance to connect with other adventurers and outdoor fanatics.

Design Process
Once we brainstorm your ideas that's when the fun starts.
In addition to bringing your ideas to life, we'll also discuss colors, textures, size options and even the option for gift wrapping.

Art Creation
This is when your custom artwork takes form.
